丁寧な職人の手仕事で作る｢匠工房｣という価値
背中の笠木には曲木を使用し両端のカーブが身体をやさしく包みます。
仕上げは木の質感を活かすため、植物性のオイル塗装仕上げ。
木の表面に塗膜を作らず、オイルを木の内部に浸透させる塗装なので木の風合いや木肌の質感を感じることができます。
前脚と座面の接合には古来からの手法である、割り楔(わりくさび)を用いて強度とデザインを両立しています。
その為脚と脚の間には補強材を使用していませんので軽量化にも繋がっています。
座面に座ぐりを入れ、掛け心地も優れています。
曲木を使用した笠木のカーブが優しく包み込み、木のぬくもりを感じられる座面と
コンパクトな脚まわりが、実用性を高めます。

The value of “Takumi Kobo” made by careful craftsmanship
The backrest is made of bent wood, and the curves at both ends gently wrap around the body.
The finish is a vegetable oil finish to bring out the texture of the wood.
The oil is allowed to penetrate into the wood without creating a coating on the surface, so you can feel the texture of the wood and the grain.
The front legs and seat are joined using an ancient method called split wedges, which achieves both strength and design.
Therefore, no reinforcement material is used between the legs, which also leads to weight reduction.
The seat has a seat groove, making it comfortable to sit on.
The curve of the bent wood toprest gently wraps around you, and the seat allows you to feel the warmth of the wood, and the compact legs increase practicality.
